Interview by FROM PARIS

It's been snowing in Paris ! A good reason to stay at home drinking tea and eating chocolate biscuits. Yummy.

Me and Aude
Yesterday i spent the afternoon with Aude, one of the creators of FROM PARIS. She interviews a lot of great artists (Uffie, Philippe Katerine, Band of Skulls, etc) and she interviewed me yesterday. The video should be online around the 10th of December, and you'll see, the concept is really cool. I also played a song - Loneliness - for her, so you'll be able to discover it as well.

At the moment I'm also preparing the next gig, that will take place Wednesday 1st December at La Scène Bastille in Paris !

Speak soon xx

Recordings at David's studio

Last Sunday, we recorded some live versions of Loneliness, Love Song #1, Love You Tonight, I Just Wanna Share a Cigarette With You, and Hold Me Close. We were at David Berland's studio in Paris, close to Les Gobelins. I had liters of artichoke tea, and we all shared some very very nice cinnamon and almonds biscuits... Even Amaury Blanchard came to play with us !

Here are a couple of pictures that i took :

Me and my Buscillaccio

Here are a couple of pictures of this afternoon's recordings, at Steve Prestage's studio. We recorded a new song called Love Song #1, with the Buscilaccio (the vintage Italian harmonium that Stephen Munson gave to me). Stephen also recorded the Stylophone line in Lovely Girl and the harmonica part in Loneliness... And it sounded amazing...

Next step : live-recordings at David Berland's studio on Sunday !

Steve and Stephen. You look surprised guys !!

Live session on Balcony TV - "Lovely Girl"

Two weeks ago, I recorded a live session for Balcony TV Paris. The idea ? To record an acoustic session on a balcony in Paris. The website has already existed for a couple of years in UK, Germany, USA, etc, and has today been imported in Paris.

When I arrived at Le Parc des Buttes Chaumont on that saturday morning, it was litterally pouring with rain. But Zeb and Leo welcomed us at Le Pavillon du Lac and offered us lots of croissants and pains au chocolat with tasty espressos, which helped me forget this crappy weather. When it was my turn to play, the sun finally started to shine. And i must say it was a very nice morning in the end ! Thanks to Zeb and Leo.

Welcome home

I only feel safe when i'm home. I hope you'll feel good here too.
